As a team member at Michaels, you will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping our store, and help them find what they’re looking for. You will ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience. Your duties will include completing truck unloading and merchandise tasks throughout the store, maintaining store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises. You will help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions, while also executing cash handling to standards. Engaging customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, you will complete enrollments and educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey. Additionally, you will assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). You will participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, and be responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store. You will perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned, support shrink and safety programs, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements. Interacting with others in an accepting and respectful manner, you will promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values, project a positive image, and serve as a role model for other Team Members. You may also be cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production, and will perform other duties as assigned.
