Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience; prior retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide thoughtful product recommendations that fit the skill/experience level of each athlete.
• Deliver an elevated customer service experience that builds meaningful relationships with athletes in the great outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking, etc.
• Drive the highest level of customer service within the Outdoor department while engaging in behaviors that align with the company's service and selling standards.
• Make sure the explorer experience includes product experts who provide consultative advice while demonstrating excellent product knowledge.
• Uphold standards for merchandise presentation, showcasing the best apparel and equipment brands in sporting goods by following established floor sets, signing requirements, price changes, replenishment and recovery processes.
• Guide and educate athletes through their purchase by communicating information on use and maintenance of their equipment and accessories.
• Help communicate information to teammates regarding Company initiatives, programs, promotions, etc.
• Maintain Company loss prevention standards.
