About The Position

Find your purpose as an Optician at the CentraCare Eye Center. Opticians help people see better, improving their safety and quality of life. You'll help patients and customers select glasses and contacts, measure for fit, order the proper prescription, and tell them how to get the most out of their eyewear. The Optician will provide the highest standards and professional services to our customers, present the optical product or service with enthusiasm and provide proper instructions on the use and care of eyewear products dispensed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Opticianry Cert American Board of Opticianry (ABO) certified or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional attitude and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Help patients and customers select glasses and contacts.
• Measure for fit and order the proper prescription.
• Provide instructions on the use and care of eyewear products.
• Present optical products or services with enthusiasm.
