At Regions, the Retail Operations Manager (ROM) performs an independent quality assurance role in support of risk and operational controls in an average of 25+ branches. ROMs assess risk knowledge and performance via the branch visit process and partner with central groups to provide oversight, support, coaching, and training for the geographies. Primary Responsibilities Assists branches with complex operational and service issues Reviews branch processes and procedures Inspects branches via the branch visit process to check for compliance with control, risk, and security procedures Coaches and provides guidance to branch associates to address any operational knowledge gaps Serves as liaison to central support units and business group partners Works with the Branch Resolution Team, when needed, to ensure timely responses to complaints Delivers Branch Manager risk management onboarding and training Meets monthly with Consumer Banking Managers to discuss Branch Risk and Control Assessment findings and issues Meets clearly defined demand with limited influence This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
