The primary responsibility of the Retail Outlet Sales and Operations Manager is to foster a cohesive team that operates efficiently to support outlet sales and back-end operations. In this role, the manager is tasked with directly overseeing and motivating teams, planning, directing, and coordinating back-end operations and sales to meet or exceed operational and sales goals. This includes collaborating with store management to uphold warehouse safety, merchandising standards, and inventory guidelines, while executing daily operations according to company protocols. A significant aspect of the role involves maintaining a visible presence on the sales floor and in the warehouse to drive productivity and sales, as well as to assist with customer experience opportunities in a timely manner, embodying 'The Bob's Way'. The Retail Outlet Sales and Operations Manager is also responsible for the success and development of sales associates, ensuring that location goals are achieved. This includes maintaining the integrity of inventory through appropriate tracking and accounting processes, ensuring merchandise is received, tagged, and staged for optimal sales. The manager enforces safety and company policies, taking immediate action to address any violations. Additionally, the role involves recruiting, hiring, and training direct report staff, conducting regular meetings to review progress, and completing annual performance reviews. The manager will also partner with Store and Human Resource Management to evaluate and execute employee discipline as necessary, ensuring that the team is focused on delivering exceptional customer service.
