About The Position
The Retail Operations Administrator role at Primark is designed for a bilingual individual who will coordinate and support the retail function in the market. This position is crucial in ensuring that all relevant administrative and information collation tasks are completed effectively, thereby delivering the appropriate service level to retail teams as directed by the Regional Retail Operations Manager. The role is hybrid, requiring three days in the office located in Boston, MA, and involves a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the overall efficiency of retail operations. In this role, the administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the in-market retail function, which includes maintaining and updating local procedures, identifying variances from group processes, and providing translation support from English to Spanish. The administrator will also coordinate responses to audits, process checks, and legal documentation, ensuring that the country leader is well-informed and compliant with necessary regulations. Additionally, the role involves creating and distributing retail communications to the store network, maintaining the Retail Calendar and Activity Planner, and supporting the Regional Retail Operations Manager in preparing for activity review meetings. The administrator will be responsible for operational support in areas such as cost management, vendor coordination, and crisis management. This includes creating purchase orders for various services, reviewing and validating invoices, and coordinating timely payments with finance operations. The role also requires maintaining the store hierarchy and structure charts, assisting with monthly reporting on costs versus budget, and gathering data for various projects. The administrator will coordinate stocktakes for stores and provide administrative support to the country leader, including calendar management and travel arrangements. Overall, this position is integral to the smooth operation of retail activities and requires a proactive and organized individual who can handle multiple priorities effectively.
