About The Position

The Retail Merchandising Supervisor at Staples Stores is responsible for overseeing sales floor merchandising, inventory management, and customer service. Requirements

• Experience in customer service and merchandising.
• Ability to manage and coach a team or supervise others.
• Strong understanding of merchandising and retail operations.
• Ability to engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities and multitask effectively with limited supervision.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull materials in the 100-pound range, climb ladders, and stand or walk continuously.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflict nonconfrontationally.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate passion for Sales Floor Merchandising and Signage Standards.
• Manage inventory controls including Zero Balance, Return to Vendor, and Cross Channel Returns.
• Execute product activities such as truck unloading, sorting, and stocking.
• Implement Weekly Planograms and seasonal promotional merchandising changes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and engage with customers effectively.
• Maintain a neat and clean store environment for customers.
• Perform front end responsibilities including cashier duties and online reservations.
• Provide store leadership as the 'Manager on Duty' when scheduled.
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
