To make a positive contribution and measurably impact grocery store sales by ensuring successful execution of weekly projects in designated Kroger stores through merchandising and reset work. This role involves completing section plan-o-gram work on a scheduled basis in a grocery store environment, supporting the division’s merchandising efforts consistent with The Kroger Co. Mission and P.L. Marketing, Inc. Essential job functions include merchandising displays by maintaining inventory and completing scheduled updates, reading and understanding plan-o-grams, collecting new item tags and product, preparing work areas for section resets, breaking down sections in an orderly manner to allow customers to shop, re-positioning shelving, placing product according to updated schematics, cleaning work areas, and completing forms to report section completion to Kroger and immediate supervisors. The individual must be able to work independently with little supervision, maintain professionalism and helpfulness with customers, foster good relationships with store management and staff, follow safe work practices, and comply with guidelines for part-time employees regarding timeliness, productivity, teamwork, communication, and clocking in/out. Maintaining qualification as an insurable driver is required. During periods of reduced regular scheduled hours due to circumstances like holidays or urgent customer support needs, employees may be responsible for additional store support outside of their normal essential job functions. The position requires the ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
