About The Position

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Electronics Merchandiser to join our team for Milipitas, CA and the surrounding area. This role involves transforming and elevating the retail experience through effective merchandising strategies. You will be responsible for completing projects at major retail establishments like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and others within an assigned 30-mile radius territory. Your purpose will be to turn shelves into sales magnets and drive revenue by ensuring the proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our clients' promotional product displays. You will represent innovative, global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, Intel, and many others. This position offers between 8 - 15 hours per week, with flexibility required Monday through Friday typically between 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends or evening hours are required. If you can cover a larger region and travel to other outlying areas or states, there may be opportunities for additional hours. You will also be responsible for submitting same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each completed store visit.

Requirements

  • Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
  • Availability of mornings and at least 2 weekdays is required
  • Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within the assigned 30-mile radius territory
  • At least one full weekday of availability is required, with morning availability preferred
  • Ability to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
  • Comfortable working independently most of the time and collaborating with a small team when needed
  • Access to the internet, basic hand-held tools, and a smart device with Wi-Fi/GPS capability
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle transportation
  • Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance

Nice To Haves

  • Access to a laptop or desktop computer is a strong plus
  • Ability to cover additional areas such as San Jose/Mountain View and Union City
  • Occasional coverage in Seattle/Bellevue/Tukwila for multi-rep projects

Responsibilities
