About the position
The Retail Merchandise Processor at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona plays a crucial role in enhancing customer experience and promoting sales by processing donated merchandise for sale. This position involves receiving, pricing, and preparing items while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall success of the store team.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process merchandise, including pricing and ticketing, to meet minimum quotas.
- Safeguard company property, including donated goods, and report any incidents of theft or misappropriation.
- Maintain the sales floor and work station by following established standards.
- Stock merchandise in the appropriate areas as assigned.
- Exercise judgment to inform leaders of any hazardous materials found during processing.
- Follow and ensure compliance with all safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.
