About The Position

• Ability to read and comprehend Retail Production and Training manuals.
• Must be able to multi-task effectively and adapt to changes.
• Self-starter who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
• Effective in a team-based environment and professional interaction with customers.
• Must work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and have reliable transportation.
• Basic computer skills including use of retail-related systems and Microsoft Word.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrates multi-cultural sensitivity and awareness.

Responsibilities

• Delivers Amazing Customer Experience (ACE) to all customers.
• Acts as an ambassador of Palmetto Goodwill and its I-CARE values.
• Participates in training and development enthusiastically.
• Receives donations from donors using the GRATIS method.
• Sorts, prices, and stocks hardline and softline donations for sale.
• Utilizes point-of-sale system to complete sales of merchandise.
• Requests customers to round-up change for maximum mission impact.
• Records donations and production of merchandise accurately.
• Meets established production goals corresponding to role in retail location.
• Maintains a clean work environment and safety standards.
• Reports known or suspected security and theft problems to management.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
