About The Position

The Retail Marketing Coordinator at Global Partners LP is a dynamic role focused on executing retail marketing programs across over 350 Core C-stores and flagship Alltown Fresh® stores. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic individual who is flexible, a strong communicator, and eager to contribute to the team's success. The coordinator will work closely with internal and external partners to ensure marketing campaigns are effectively implemented and will play a key role in driving initiatives that engage customers and enhance the retail experience.

Requirements

  • College education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a similar discipline.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience required, with a retail background being a plus.
  • Excellent writing skills and a strong interest or familiarity with the marketing creative process.
  • Understanding of hospitality and retail marketing is highly desired.
  • Interest in consumer behavior and the competitive landscape.
  • Extremely well organized with knowledge of basic budget management and the ability to track program successes.
  • Strong desire to see projects through from inception to completion and proven multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise at all levels.
  • Self-starter comfortable working remotely.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in retail marketing or hospitality marketing.
  • Familiarity with consumer behavior analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of a robust retail marketing strategy for retail locations, including content development, in-store signage, promotional planning, culinary initiatives, and event planning.
  • Develop promotional signs for new and recurring marketing campaigns, including creative direction, distribution, shipping, tracking, and store communication.
  • Manage inventory of marketing collateral to support the needs of new and existing stores and fulfill store sign/collateral requests.
  • Maintain a 12-month rolling calendar of promotions and support new store opening marketing efforts.
  • Attract and retain guests through creative activations and 'boots on the ground' efforts.
  • Contribute to marketing programs that engage guests meaningfully and monitor competitor activities and industry trends to develop new campaign ideas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, merchandising, and corporate communications, to ensure marketing alignment.
  • Assist in the evaluation and optimization of marketing programs, applying lessons learned to improve processes and deliverables.
  • Support the Retail Marketing team with ad hoc requests, including pulling UPCs for promotions, reporting, sourcing giveaways, and distributing marketing collateral to stores.
