About The Position

Aramark Destinations Pikes Peak is seeking a Retail Manager responsible for overseeing the operations of retail locations at the Summit Visitor Center, Glen Cove Inn, and Crystal Reservoir Gift Shop. The Retail Manager must ensure efficient store operations in accordance with Aramark's policies, procedures, and client contracts. This role is essential in delivering exceptional guest experiences by coordinating store services, merchandising, inventory management, and overall operational needs.

Requirements

  • Requires 2-4 years of retail management experience or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge and skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Point of Sales (POS) systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and holidays as needed for events.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with P&L management and contract-managed services preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service aligned with Aramark's service model.
  • Ability to work at high elevations and adapt to varying weather conditions for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of store operations at the Pikes Peak Summit Visitor Center, Glen Cove Inn, and Crystal Reservoir Gift Shop, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage product inventory, ticketing, distribution, and merchandising strategies.
  • Lead and implement customer service programs, ensuring guests receive a positive and engaging experience.
  • Maintain cash and credit card accountability, verify financial transactions, and monitor profit and loss (P&L) performance.
  • Work with HR to recruit, hire, and train staff while maintaining adequate event-based staffing levels within budget.
  • Ensure proper opening and closing procedures, security requirements, and compliance with Aramark standards.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns and employee-related challenges effectively.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventories, manage potential discrepancies, and verify accurate ticketing of merchandise.
  • Maintain effective client and vendor relationships to foster business growth and operational success.
  • Utilize experience in developing and implementing planograms to create visually appealing displays that enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales.

Benefits

  • Salary range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000.
