About The Position

The Retail Manager for Food and Nutrition at Wellington Regional Medical Center is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of retail food production, ensuring high-quality food service delivery. This full-time position offers a day shift schedule and is integral to maintaining the hospital's commitment to excellent patient care through superior food production and service.

Requirements

  • Acute care experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and management skills in a food service environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Experience in healthcare food service management.
  • Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutrition.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of retail food production to ensure high quality foods are delivered.
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for the execution of superior food production and service.
  • Recognize signs and symptoms of stroke and initiate a stroke alert process as needed.
  • Maintain currency in stroke knowledge by completing annual online training.
