About The Position

The Summer Internship at TJX offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Retail Management. Interns will engage in a dynamic and collaborative environment, focusing on retail sales, customer service, merchandising, and operations. This internship is designed to empower interns to contribute to business goals while developing their leadership skills and understanding of the off-price retail business model.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program or a 2-year degree program
• Available for the full duration of the internship during the summer
• Demonstrated leadership experience and strong communication skills
• Analytical problem solver with a passion for business goals
• Confidence and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Entrepreneurial drive and curiosity for business knowledge

• Ability to accommodate a flexible in-person work schedule including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Learn how to lead, develop, and motivate a diverse team of Associates
• Collaborate with various functions within Store, District, and Regional Leadership
• Shadow TJX leaders to gain insights into retail management
• Focus on an operational project and deliver a final presentation to executive leadership
• Participate in a volunteering experience and networking events
• Learn visual merchandise presentation standards and seasonal planning
• Drive sales through customer experience and merchandise reporting
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly activities to achieve operating goals
• Gain exposure to loss control and environmental sustainability initiatives

Benefits
