About The Position

Join Sierra Trading Post as a Summer Intern in Retail Management and discover the thrill of the find while contributing to a dynamic team. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program or a 2-year degree program
• Rising Seniors preferred
• Available for the full duration of the internship program during the summer
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Leadership experience and ability to collaborate
• Strong communication skills
• Confidence and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Entrepreneurial drive and curiosity for business knowledge
• Ability to accommodate a flexible in-person work schedule including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Learn how to lead, develop, and motivate a diverse team of Associates
• Collaborate with various functions within Store, District, and Regional Leadership
• Shadow TJX leaders to gain insights into retail management
• Gain exposure to the lifecycle of the off-price business model
• Learn how management executes Merchandise Standards and Operating Processes
• Focus on an operational project and deliver a final presentation to executive leadership
• Participate in volunteering experiences, an executive-led speaker series, and networking events

Benefits

• $21.50 per hour pay
• Potential future offer to return as an Assistant Store Manager after successful completion of the internship
• Enrollment in a 4-week Management Training Program prior to placement in an assigned store
