About The Position

HCI | Integrated Solutions is seeking a Retail Logistics Analyst I to support daily operations at a GSA retail location. This role involves providing direct customer service, managing sales transactions, processing orders, and maintaining retail inventory accuracy using GSAs Point-of-Sale (POS) system. The ideal candidate has a strong background in logistics or retail operations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a government retail environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience supporting government or retail logistics operations
  • High School Diploma (an additional 2 years of relevant experience may substitute for education)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate level)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Favorable EOD determination required for placement; final suitability determined by Human Resources

Responsibilities

  • Provide face-to-face customer service in a GSA retail store environment.
  • Review and process transactions using the GSA POS system, including scanning, order entry, adjustments, and product validation.
  • Input correct part numbers, quantities, units of issue, and pricing for internal and external GSA customers.
  • Maintain accurate financial and inventory records, audit sales transactions for accuracy.
  • Process order tickets, maintain a clean and organized checkout area, and assist customers with loading purchases upon request.
  • Accurately enter Activity Address Codes (AAC), DoDAACs, and government credit card information.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email; provide timely updates on order status.
  • Support general administrative tasks including mail distribution, data entry, and report generation.
  • Maintain electronic and hardcopy documentation in accordance with federal guidelines and GSA procedures.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies, conducting record research, and processing returns or inventory adjustments.
  • Stay up to date with changes to POS systems, processes, and GSA policies.
  • Attend store meetings and coordinate closely with the GSA Store Manager and the GSA Operations Manager.
