About The Position

The Retail Loan Boarding Specialist is responsible for reviewing retail loan documents for completion, signatures, and conditions in accordance with bank and regulatory policies. Additionally, this position is responsible for the boarding and validation of interfacing and manually keyed retail and consumer loans. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
Previous banking experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) and Internet Applications.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and work well in a team environment.
High level of energy, the ability to multi-task, and a strong sense of urgency.
Demonstrate basic math functions and the ability to work in multiple systems at once.
Well organized and detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 6 months Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
Previous banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain and utilize a working knowledge of retail loan documentation.
Collaborate with supervisor, management, compliance, and operations to resolve loan deficiencies.
Maintain and clear deficiency list to ensure all loan conditions are cleared in a timely manner.
Communicate with lenders, vendors, and closing attorney to facilitate a resolution for closing errors.
Board or manually key retail loans withing 24 hours of receipt.
Balance, calculate, and key GL entries pertaining to new loan set up.
Verify accuracy of processing and core bank systems against loan documentation.
Review and key file maintenance and fee waivers for core bank system.
Maintain excellent customer service standards.
Progress to Retail Loan Boarding Level II role, by successful completion of necessary training and testing.
Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.

Willingly perform all other duties and projects as assigned.
