About The Position

The Retail Loan Accountant records, monitors, and audits accounting items and system information related to loan accounting and the general ledger. Plus provides ongoing and timely support for the Finance and Accounting departments.

Requirements

• bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or business management with a minimum of one year’s experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
• knowledge of loan accounting systems and software
• knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and methods
• skills to interpret and apply GAAP
• skills to complete tax and regulatory forms
• skills to analyze information to form logical and objective conclusions with attention to detail
• skilled at using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to create, update, and save various documents
• skilled in oral and written communication
