About The Position

The Leader in Training position at Bargain Hunt is designed for individuals with retail management experience who are ready to take on a dynamic role in overseeing store operations. This role involves collaborating with the Store Leader to ensure effective management of sales performance and personnel, while also fostering a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication abilities and effectiveness in diverse situations.
  • Capability to multitask effectively, especially in high-stress scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in overall store management including sales performance and personnel oversight.
  • Participate in the interviewing and training process for new team members.
  • Actively manage performance issues and recruit prospective leadership candidates.
  • Maintain store appearance to company standards, including merchandise presentation, signage, stock levels, and recovery.
  • Foster a positive work environment and contribute to team morale.
  • Take on the role of primary Manager on Duty when necessary, including store opening and closing duties.
