About The Position

Your Home Improvement Company Retail Marketing Manager / Lead Generation Manager $60,000–$65,000 + Monthly Bonus + Benefits Your Home Improvement Company (YHIC) is seeking a results-driven Retail Marketing Manager to lead our retail and event lead generation efforts. This role champions The Great Day Way —putting customers and people at the center of every experience. You will unify our retail and event strategies under a customer-obsessed, people-focused vision to deliver high-quality leads, memorable brand interactions, and strong community presence. Travel Required: 60%+ Schedule: Thursday–Monday (weekends required)

Requirements

  • 2+ years in retail/field/event marketing, grassroots lead generation, or similar growth-oriented experience
  • Proven leadership scaling multi-location teams; national/multi-brand experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of retail marketing, in-store promotions, events, partnerships, and community engagement
  • Ability to set vision, create systems, and lead through influence
  • Willingness to travel regularly within assigned markets and occasionally to other markets
  • Ability to stand, walk, and assist with event materials as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Travel Required: 60%+
  • Weekend availability required (Thursday–Monday schedule)

Responsibilities

  • Engage potential customers and schedule in-home consultations for Sales Representatives
  • Hire, train, and lead a team of retail marketers across multiple locations
  • Develop onboarding and ongoing training programs
  • Manage budgets to maximize ROI
  • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual goals in partnership with the Field Marketing Manager
  • Approve payroll entries and updates
  • Support social media content and company culture initiatives
  • Analyze performance data and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct performance reviews for the Lead Generation/Marketing team
  • Support corporate marketing efforts as needed
  • Create and lead a unified retail marketing vision across brands and divisions
  • Build scalable programs aligned with The Great Day Way : excellence, customer-first thinking, and strong team development
  • Oversee execution of in-store marketing, retail events, festivals, home shows, B2B partnerships, and local sponsorships
  • Assist in the execution and oversight of event marketing strategies
  • Develop standards for localized marketing to ensure consistent brand representation
  • Optimize lead generation processes to exceed booked, issued, and conversion goals
  • Develop and execute a workforce plan for retail marketing capacity
  • Recruit, train, and inspire a geographically dispersed team
  • Promote a culture of accountability, learning, and high energy
  • Establish clear KPIs and coaching routines
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
  • Report on KPIs including lead volume, ROI, conversion rates, and team performance
  • Own and manage retail marketing budgets with discipline and creativity
