About The Position

Your Home Improvement Company (YHIC) is looking for a competitive, high-output Retail Marketing Manager who knows how to build teams, drive leads, and dominate markets. This is not a maintenance role. This is a build-it, scale-it, outperform-the-market role. If you thrive on hitting numbers, developing top performers, and turning retail traffic into booked appointments, this is your opportunity to lead from the front and get paid for performance.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in retail marketing, field marketing, event marketing, or lead generation
  • Proven experience leading and scaling teams
  • Strong background in performance-based or commission-driven environments
  • Ability to travel 60%+
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Weekend availability (Thursday–Monday schedule)

Responsibilities

  • Drive high-volume, high-quality leads through retail stores, events, home shows, and community activations
  • Set aggressive booked, issued, and conversion goals — and beat them
  • Track performance daily and pivot quickly to maximize ROI
  • Recruit, hire, and train top-tier retail marketers
  • Create a competitive, high-energy culture focused on results
  • Coach underperformers up — or coach them out
  • Establish clear KPIs and accountability standards
  • Oversee in-store marketing campaigns
  • Ensure every activation generates measurable results
  • Maintain strong brand presence while maximizing lead capture
  • Manage budgets like it’s your own business
  • Approve payroll and optimize labor efficiency
  • Report on KPIs: lead volume, cost per lead, issued appointments, conversions, ROI
  • Partner with Field Marketing leadership to scale winning strategies
