About The Position

Retail Sales Associate - Level 2 JOB SUMMARY: To provide an exceptional shopping experience for every customer and assist store leadership in performing daily operations and objectives of the store. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONBILITIES: The below listing of essential and periodic functions is not an inclusive listing of all duties that may be requested to be performed by supervisor or manager. Provide exceptional sales assistance and customer service by acknowledging all customers and being attentive to shopper’s needs. Stock merchandise and maintain inventory levels in accordance with store processes and procedures. Price and label products in accordance with store processes and procedures. Price and process products from Shipping/Returns Department. Keyholder duties – closing procedure during weeknight. Price and labeling of CLOSEOUT section in backroom. Ensure fast and accurate service during customer shopping and check-out process. Perform general store maintenance and cleaning as assigned SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in large event sales, including the bi-annual Mason Tent Sale, Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. Assist in performing annual inventory in accordance with store processes and procedures.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
1-2 years of progressively responsible retail experience required.
Cash handling experience required.
Outgoing, friendly, positive and customer-focused
Ability to commit to scheduled work hours with a reliable mode of transportation
Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels, both inside and outside of the organization

Must be able to work on your feet in a fast paced environment
Stand, walk and move for 8 hours shifts
Help move product/new freight that is 25 pounds periodically
Bend, twist, turn, reach, push and pull comfortably

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred but not required.
Merchandising experience desired (Floor/Window Displays)
