The inventory control clerk is responsible for accurately tracking inventory of merchandise to maintain the integrity of inventory control and ensuring detailed reporting of store inventory.
The inventory control clerk is responsible for accurate physical count of merchandise to maintain integrity of store inventory.
Records and checks quantity of merchandise received.
Communicates and coordinates with appropriate Corporate Accounting personnel
Properly inputs corrections and adjustments of received merchandise into the computer system and forwards proper documentation to Corporate Accounting office.
Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy
May operate forklift or industrial truck to assist in loading, unloading, or moving merchandise and materials.
Promptly handles any customer or vendor complaints, questions, or concerns in a professional and friendly manner
