Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience in retail store operations is preferred.
  • Department Manager or Assistant Store Director experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in retail store operations with a strong background in scan coordination procedures and methods.
  • Possess a good understanding of Point-of-Sale systems, electronic data processing, accounting and general business procedures and practices.
  • Must have a good understanding of Company scanning and price maintenance support application systems and practices.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, including oral and written plus the ability to speak effectively before groups. Must be able to interface effectively with a wide variety of personnel. Possess ability to communicate concepts, systems, procedures, etc., in a training environment.
  • Possess leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to achieve desired results by providing direct dialog and personnel evaluations.
  • Possess good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work and coordinate multiple projects throughout the business day.
  • Requires analytical ability and mental alertness to ensure accurate and thorough completion of work activities as well as for data interpretation and analysis. Possess ability to concentrate and deal with frequent interruptions with ability to prioritize necessary tasks
  • Focus on Cost Control through maintenance contracts and all scan function invoices.
  • Possess excellent Personal Computer Skills (Microsoft Programs: Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Internet).
  • Division-wide travel, up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures all Scanning Operational procedures are executed in a manner complying with the Company's Scan and Scale Accuracy Policy, maintaining retail integrity in all stores.
  • Ensures the execution for all retail integrity programs in stores per the direction of the Store Support Center Front End Operations guidelines.
  • Understands the impact of Company profitability, using the tools, POS and Host Pricing Files, Marketing Analytics, Marketing and Advertising systems.
  • Train and ensure quality control process is in place to support promotions and ad pricing minimizing store intervention.
  • Develop and train all departments in maintaining operational excellence in retail integrity that maximizes sales and profits.
  • Develop qualified Lead Scan Coordinators.
  • Coordinate retail integrity programs.
  • Responsible to communicate and train on programs for pricing and sale requirements; to ensure compliancy with local, state, and federal retail pricing standards.

  • Performs related duties as requested by Manager, Retail Support.
  • Coordinates with IT Service Managers and Installation Services Teams through project planning for the installation of all store systems equipment within the Division.
  • Communicates corporate Marketing and Promotional programs to store front end associates.
  • Manage compliance of company policies and governmental agency regulations.
  • Comprehend, communicate, and coordinate tax laws and changes including special holiday exemptions.
  • Ensures all Weights and Measure compliance audits are corrected and documented.
  • Ensure the compliance of store required audits, including but not limited to the suggested Weights and Measures Random Audit or Corporate Internal Retail Integrity Audit of all Division Stores.
  • Responsible for publishing Retail Integrity metrics weekly for Division and Corporate functional areas.
