As the Retail Material Handler, you will provide support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:. Must be able to operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. Must be able to read a production schedule and supply components and ingredients to the proper workstations without interruptions to production. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must possess strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand the operation and with the assistance of maintenance, make required machine adjustments to obtain production standards. Must possess strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately complete all required documentation. Must have the understanding of the Quality requirement for this product. This person may be required to assist in the operation of the entire line and also make size changeovers. Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP’S, SOP’s, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, foods safety programs and all other policies established by Bay Valley Foods. Perform other duties as assigned.
