About The Position
The primary responsibility for the Housekeeper is to ensure that the store is cleaned everyday for customers. Other functions for this position may include the distribution of merchandise bags and boxes and performing carry outs of purchases for customers. Requirements
- 1-2 years direct experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers
- Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
Responsibilities
- Make sure that the store is cleaned everyday for our customers
- Distribute merchandise bags and boxes
- Perform carry outs of purchase for customers
- Maintain customer service as the top priority
- Project a courteous and professional demeanor to all internal and external customers
- Clean and maintain fitting rooms
- Pick up trash from registers, restrooms, offices, common areas
- Clean and re-stock restrooms
- Dust the sales floor (both high and low)
- Maintain the carpets and tile floors
- Ensure that shortage prevention initiatives are executed
- Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality
- Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities
