Retail Hiring Event! Assistant Store Manager - 4/22/2025

About the position

Extra Space Storage is hosting an in-person hiring event to fill various openings for Assistant Store Managers at multiple locations in the greater Louisville & Mount Washington Kentucky areas. The event will take place on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 10:00am to 6:00pm at 143 Louise Way Mount Washington, KY 40047. Offers may be extended on the spot, and candidates are encouraged to bring a copy of their resume.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Meet sales goals through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
• Guide new customers through rental processes and agreements.
• Maintain facilities - sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs, etc.
• Work independently on daily tasks as well as cooperate with team members.
• May be required to run errands for the facility and travel to other store locations.

Requirements

• 1+ year of customer-facing employment experience.
• Strong computer skills.
• Current, valid driver's license with access to a reliable personal vehicle.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Sales Associate, Customer Service Representative, Retail Associate, Store Associate, Hospitality and Hotel, Front Desk Agent, Leasing Agent, Rental Agent, Property Management, Retail Sales, Retail Sales Lead or Team Lead, Cashier/Sales, Sales Specialist.
