About The Position

At Where Ya Bin Stores, we deliver a one-of-a-kind shopping experience where savings meet excitement. Each week, we purchase truckloads of overstock merchandise from some of the largest online retailers across America, bringing thousands of new items into the store. Our inventory changes constantly, and no two days are ever the same. Our "everything must go" pricing model starts at $10 on Fridays and decreases daily to just $0.25 on Thursdays, ensuring bins are emptied and restocked weekly with fresh merchandise. At Where Ya Bin, customer experience is always the top priority, and our leadership, processes, and team culture reflect that commitment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail management or multi-unit leadership preferred.
  • Strong operational and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage schedules, labor budgets, and payroll accurately.
  • Comfortable working a hands-on, physically active role on the sales floor.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with HR, Logistics, Marketing, and Senior Leadership.
  • Willingness to work required hours, including Fridays, Thursdays, and weekends.
  • Proficient with scheduling systems, reporting tools, and basic computer applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, enforce policies, and uphold company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations and ensure a smooth, efficient, customer-focused environment
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork
  • Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor, supporting staff and enhancing customer experience
  • Manage scheduling, labor budgets, timesheets, payroll, and employee records
  • Ensure proper inventory flow, including stocking, staging, and maintaining merchandise standards
  • Monitor store cleanliness, safety, and maintenance needs
  • Complete reports and support marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with HR, Logistics, Marketing, and Senior Leadership
  • Adapt quickly to changing inventory and operational demands in a fast-paced setting
