About The Position

Sales Manager in Training Opportunity! Louisville, KY/Clarksville, IN area! The Sales Manager in Training will assist and train under our managers to learn all aspects of the job responsibilities. As a Sales Manager in Training, your career begins with a 12-week training to learn our systems, culture, best practices, vendors and selling techniques. You'll start learning our business while based out of one of our neighborhood showrooms for the next 90-180 days. You will be entrusted to serve as both the face of Furniture Fair to customers and partners and the behind-the-scenes operational expert. You will master the knowledge and skills you need to eventually manage and lead your own team and cultivate new business. Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of one year experience in at least TWO of the following areas:

Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of achievement in the sales team by encouraging reps to hit or exceed their quotas
  • Mentor and train sales reps to improve performance, reduce turnover, and provide on-the-job support
  • Grow our sales team by recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new salespeople
  • Analyze previous sales periods to create accurate forecasts
  • Track performance metrics
  • Coach and drive sales
  • Set personal and team goals/achieve goals
  • Foster Teamwork
  • Focus on developing full room solutions and encourage in-home style consultations
