Responsibilities
- Supervise all store functions and associates while acting as Manager on Duty.
- Maximize sales results through training, developing, and coaching of direct reports.
- Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.
- Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
- Solve issues and concerns, making informed decisions to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Reinforce company Asset Protection strategies to eliminate shortage.
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
- Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
- Drive Community Relations participation through company programs and partnerships.
- Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
