About The Position

As a Lead Framer at Michaels, you will lead and coach a team of framers who focus on building customer relationships while creating a framing solution for their art. You will drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions. Your role will involve assisting the Store Manager in managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and requirements. You will develop and coach the team on selling behaviors and lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time. Additionally, you will manage inventory processes, execute shrink and safety programs, and serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time.
• Achieve personal and team KPI’s.
• Review sales and production workload and build plans for networking.
• Manage and execute inventory management processes.
• Execute shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members.
• Participate in Performance Management activities of the team.
• Partner with MODs daily on framing expectations.
• Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes.
