JOB TITLE: Retail Floor Associate JOB LOCATION: Springville, UT SCHEDULE: Evening/Saturday to closing 9:00pm FUNCTION: Provide excellent customer service and serve as the first contact with customers. Assists customers in locating products and help solve home improvement issues with the right product and solutions. Efficiently processing sales at the register.

Requirements

  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilites.
  • Basic math skills to calculate prices and provide accurate change.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks.
  • Must be reliable and arrive at work on time and complete assigned shift.
  • Demonstrates initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and team members in English.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must be willing and able to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly.
  • Repetitive motion associated with operating a register and other retail equipment.
  • Frequent bending and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior cashier/retail/customer service experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Visualizes, fulfill, and implements the company vision and core values
  • Provides high-quality customer service, demonstrating concern and patience in all customer interactions.
  • Manage incoming calls and information requests in a professional, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Maintains a positive, motivated attitude in the workplace.
  • Provides effective administrative support to the site location, as needed.
  • Accurately and efficiently processes customer transactions.
  • Performs inventory counts as needed.
  • Replenishes displays and shelves as needed.
  • Maintains a clean and professional working environment.
  • Attends and participates in all Company sponsored training programs as required.
  • Adheres to all safety protocols and Company policies and procedures.
  • Performs any other duties, responsibilities or tasks as assigned.
