About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Manager – (Interior Maintenance) will play a critical role in managing interior maintenance across a multi-unit portfolio of retail locations throughout the United States and Canada. This role focuses on maintaining both standard and highly customized environments that define the Bass Pro brand. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, vendor management experience, and the ability to operate effectively in complex, high-traffic locations. This role requires a proactive, solutions oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards across the retail environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant work experience
• 3-5 years of experience in facilities or maintenance management
• Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, equipment, and best practices.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and lighting systems.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software.

Nice To Haves

• RFMP, CFM NFPA 70E, Electrician Certificate(s) or License(s)
• Experience in a retail environment
• Experience with CMMS platforms such as Limble, ServiceChannel

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure all interior maintenance tasks are completed timely and efficiently.
• Oversee routine inspections and identify areas requiring maintenance or repair.
• Coordinate with local maintenance teams and external vendors to execute maintenance tasks.
• Ensure vendors adhere to agreed terms, quality standards, and timelines.
• Evaluate vendor performance and address any issues or concerns.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.
• Develop and implement a strategic maintenance plan that aligns with the company’s long-term goals and objectives.
• Create a 3-year outlook on the life cycle for all maintenance equipment, identifying key milestones, potential risk, and necessary interventions.
