About The Position

The Sr Retail Experience Specialist is responsible for designing and executing consumer-driven promotion and merchandising strategies within the retail channel for IGT Indiana, which partners with the Hoosier Lottery. This role involves managing project strategies, vendor relationships, and timelines to enhance retail initiatives and maximize sales impact while ensuring alignment with marketing objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Advertising preferred.
  • 3-7 years of experience in Brand and/or Advertising.
  • Business-to-Consumer marketing experience in a fast-paced retail environment or CPG organization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing programs with budgets exceeding $1 million.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to track multiple projects.
  • Ability to function independently and prioritize work effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet research.

  • Knowledge of consumer behavior analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project strategy, vendors, and timelines for retail promotion and merchandising initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Account Director and Retail & Advertising Manager to align corporate loyalty programs with the marketing calendar.
  • Manage budget lines for retail merchandising and monthly campaign point-of-sale materials.
  • Work with Analysts to track effectiveness and analyze merchandising initiatives.
  • Establish and manage a retail merchandising calendar to support business objectives.
  • Optimize temporary and permanent merchandising options to maximize sales impact and reduce costs.
  • Manage and analyze retail digital communications in coordination with internal and external staff.
  • Ensure ESMM strategy aligns with product and marketing calendars, researching improvements continuously.
  • Track and analyze marketing collateral creation and distribution at regional and retailer levels.
  • Collaborate with Sales department to ensure retailer communications meet retailer needs and reflect Hoosier Lottery priorities.
  • Ensure content in the Retailer Playbook and on the retail webpage is current and relevant.
  • Manage 360 strategies and execution of winner awareness initiatives.
  • Understand Hoosier Lottery retailer business performance to identify consumer strategies for incremental business growth.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Hoosier Lottery player in retail environments to inform recommendations for initiatives.
  • Attend monthly regional sales meetings to gather feedback and present new initiatives.
  • Seek out new vendors for improved retail opportunities.
  • Perform other required tasks as assigned.
