About The Position

As a Store Associate at Michaels in Erie, PA, you will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping our store, and help them find what they're looking for. You will ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience while completing truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store. This includes maintaining store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises. You will engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, educate them on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, and assist with Omni channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). Additionally, you will participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, and be responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance, ensuring a well-merchandised and in-stock store. You will also support shrink and safety programs, adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and interact with others in a respectful manner, promoting commitment to the organization's vision and values.

Requirements

  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.
