About The Position

As a Lead Framer at Michaels, you will lead and coach a team of framers who focus on building customer relationships while creating a framing solution for their art. You will drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions. Your major activities will include assisting the Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and requirements, and holding the team accountable for store conditions and results. You will develop and coach the team on selling behaviors, lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions, and manage the framing team to achieve their KPIs. Additionally, you will manage inventory processes, execute shrink and safety programs, and serve as Manager on Duty (MOD). You will also participate in the hiring and training of new team members and support talent development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Ensure execution of Company policies and standards.
  • Hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
  • Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
  • Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time.
  • Achieve personal and team KPIs.
  • Review sales and production workload and build plans for networking.
  • Manage and execute inventory management processes.
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
  • Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members.
  • Participate in Performance Management activities of the team.
  • Partner with MODs daily on framing expectations.
  • Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
  • Participate in truck unload and stocking processes.
