The Retail Department Coordinator at TJ Maxx is responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience by overseeing a team of Associates at the front of the store. This role involves ensuring prompt, courteous customer service and the promotion of loyalty programs. The coordinator leads by example through engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store. Key responsibilities include training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, coaching them on personalizing the customer experience, and managing POS coverage and breaks. The coordinator addresses customer concerns, ensures tasks are executed according to the store plan, and communicates effectively with management and Associates. They also provide and accept feedback, partner on training needs, ensure adherence to policies and procedures, support shrink reduction goals, and promote safety awareness.
