The Retail Department Coordinator is responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team. This role also ensures an excellent customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The coordinator role models exceptional customer service, creates a positive internal and external customer experience, and promotes a culture of honesty and integrity while maintaining confidentiality. This position involves orchestrating truck delivery, training and mentoring Associates, ensuring merchandise is properly handled, and monitoring team productivity. The company is a Fortune 100 company and the world’s leading off-price retailer, with nearly 4,700 stores in nine countries.
