About The Position

The Retail Data Administrator works on the Retail Central Data Team, under the Alterra Shared Services Retail Department, supporting the retail and rental shops at Alterra resorts. Reporting to the Retail Central Data Team Manager, the primary role of the Retail Data Administrator is to engage in retail data processing to support the end-to-end retail procurement process for Alterra.

Requirements

  • Detail & process oriented with a strong analytical ability and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in data management software and tools.
  • Expert in Excel -ex. VLOOKUP, Concatenate, If and Replace, Trim and Proper functions
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn and demonstrate strong problem solving skills.
  • Team oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Is able to handle and manage confidential information.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and procedure.
  • Sees projects through to the finish. Has good follow-through and makes it a habit of getting back to people on issues.
  • Can handle fast paced, potentially high-pressure environment.
  • Proven experience in data entry required; experience in retail environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Data Input, Creation, and Maintenance:
  • Own mass product creation in Inventory Management System for entire organization.
  • Execute product updates and maintenance including, but not limited to: corrections, National price updates, SKU additions, and other dimensions as needed.
  • Adhere to SOPs for data processes and protocols.
  • Prioritize product knowledgeability to enhance data organization judgement.
  • Data Verification and Validation:
  • Conduct regular audits of retail data to identify and correct errors and inconsistencies.
  • Ensure data integrity by performing regular checks.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with resort administrators and buying teams to understand needs and resolve data-related issues.
  • Communicate effectively with various teams to identify essential support and carry out productive solutions.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify and support implementing process improvements to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: None
