About The Position

This role at EZCORP, under the Value Pawn & Jewelry brand, is for a Retail Customer Service Representative, also known as a Pawnbroker. EZCORP is looking for team members interested in a career, not just a job, offering structured development and career paths. The position involves daily interaction with customers, assisting with sales, loans, and extensions, particularly for pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, and musical instruments. The company emphasizes providing excellent customer service in a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment. Requirements

• Self-motivated with a positive and outgoing personality
• Strong work ethic
• Excelling at customer service and relationship building
• High school diploma or GED
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Work well independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to multitask
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics
• Sales background
• Bilingual

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers daily, helping with sales
• Enjoy the give and take of coming to a mutually satisfying agreement regarding pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more
• Provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment
• Greet customers
• Interact with customers in person and on the phone
• Process sales, loans, and extensions
• Perform opening and closing store duties
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations
