Further growth includes a Pawnbroker Certification Program for an additional $1/hour, opportunities to promote to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Manager), and a 12-week Store Manager in Training program to build the foundation to run your own store. The Retail Customer Service Representative (Pawnbroker) role involves daily customer interaction, assisting with sales, and negotiating agreements for pawn items like jewelry, electronics, and musical instruments. The role emphasizes providing excellent customer service in a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment. Requirements

  • Self-motivated with a positive and outgoing personality and a strong work ethic
  • Excelling at customer service and relationship building
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Customer service, cashier, or retail experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work well independently and as member of a team
  • Ability to multitask
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics
  • Sales background
  • Bilingual

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers daily, helping with sales and enjoying the give and take of coming to a mutually satisfying agreement regarding pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting with customers in person and on the phone
  • Process sales, loans, and extensions
  • Perform opening and closing store duties
