The Salesfloor Managers at M&D Supply oversee the customer experience. Along with our sales people they are the “face” of M&D supply. They are crucial to the success of the company. Our sales team consistently makes customers happy by providing helpful, knowledgeable customer service that clearly differentiates us from our competition. Supervisory Duties Hiring - recruit, identify, screen and select qualified applicants for open positions. Training and development – facilitate the learning of job related knowledge, skills and behavior Budgeting – develop an annual financial plan for resource allocation and monitor variances throughout the year Planning and Scheduling - develop goals and strategies to coordinate operational activities Leading – work with and through people to accomplish execute M&D’s value proposition Conflict management - recognize / respond incompatible differences between employees and customers and promote solutions Discipline – work with HR to administer corrective action when employees fail to meet attendance, performance or conduct requirements Appraisal - evaluate aspects of employee performance in accordance with performance standards Act as support for management team as needed. Help Coordinate and attend staff meetings
