About The Position

As a Retail Credit Underwriter, you will analyze credit risk for equipment and revolving line of credit applications by reviewing credit bureaus as well as other financial data. You will be responsible to review applicant information for accuracy and identify and resolve any potential discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and decision-making skills and will need to be able to come up with creative solutions to mitigate risk to the company. Good communication skills are a must as you will be part of a call center. The position works out of the Racine, WI office, with a hybrid work model. Normal hours are 8:00 - 5:00 CT with occasional 9:00-6:00 CT, 10:00-7:00 CT shifts and some Saturdays are required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years commercial credit underwriting experience or related areas in the credit cycle

  • Willingness to learn data analysis, dashboards, and market trends to enhance the decision making
  • Great ability to relate and communicate with multiple dealers and internal customers will be key to succeed in this role

Responsibilities

  • Verifying, analyzing, and processing retail credit applications in a timely manner, helping to grow retail acquisitions with minimal risk of loss and maximizing profit
  • Reviewing and making decisions on credit transactions or submit recommendation to a higher approval authority
  • Communicating with CNH Capital sales team, dealers, and end-user customers to effectively structure transactions to support equipment sales
  • Identifying and supporting implementation of process and system improvements
  • Apply policy and procedure as required
  • Complete additional projects and tasks that are assigned
