About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for partnering with Subject Matter Experts across Retail Credit-including consumer and small business lending-and the Retail Lending Collections team to identify, analyze, and improve business processes and systems. The incumbent translates operational challenges into actionable requirements, process enhancements, test cases, and data mapping. A key focus of this role is driving continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve both customer and employee experiences across the Retail Lending lifecycle. The role also supports the creation and maintenance of business requirements, process documentation, data mapping extracts, and test plans, and leads or assists with user acceptance testing. Collaboration with project managers to complete and update project documentation and deliverables is essential, along with providing expert input and best practice guidance in areas of subject matter expertise.

  • Experience with Retail Credit and Retail Lending Collections, including consumer and small business lending, is required
  • Associate's Degree (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
  • 3 years of job-related experience, preferably in business analysis, quality assurance, or process improvement roles within financial services or lending operations

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
  • Business Analysis and QA Testing experience preferred
  • Process improvement certifications such as Lean Six Sigma are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Retail Credit and Retail Lending Collections Subject Matter Experts to update/create business requirements, process documentation, and data mapping extracts, with a strong focus on identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation.
  • Leads or supports process improvement initiatives by analyzing current workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending enhancements that align with strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Translates business problems into clear and actionable requirements, process changes, test cases, and data mapping.
  • Manages/assists with the creation and execution of test plans and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
  • Communicates effectively with Retail Lending partners to understand challenges, propose solutions, and ensure alignment on process improvements and project outcomes.
  • Works closely with project managers to complete and update project documentation and deliverables, and actively participates in project meetings.
  • Provides expert input and best practice guidance on areas of subject matter expertise, including process design and improvement methodologies.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned, including cross-functional initiatives focused on operational excellence.
  • Serves as a risk manager by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring risks encountered daily, in alignment with F.N.B. Corporation's risk management program.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory laws and company procedures, contributing to F.N.B. Corporation's commitment to superior compliance standards.
