About The Position

The Beauty Merchandiser is responsible for providing a great shopping experience by ensuring optimum sales floor merchandising and strong merchandise execution. You will focus on Trend & Zone display updates, maintenance, organization, and replenishment of stock, execution of Gift with Purchase and Purchase with Purchase, Open Sell, Trend Recycling Program, and supporting merchandise execution priorities as needed. You will also keep the customer as your top priority and pause merchandising duties to provide assistance as needed.

• Ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Self-starter in adapting quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
• Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors in English.
• Previous visual or merchandising experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and connect with customers in a friendly and genuine way.
• Be familiar with products and key items throughout the department to offer personalized recommendations.
• Collaborate with Managers and Colleagues to ensure a clean and organized beauty department.
• Support Beauty Advisors with the presale pickup and organization process.
• Install fixture and product display updates in a timely manner, following guidelines.
• Assist the leadership team in the movement of fixtures and product displays for new items and seasonal changes.
• Replenish stock onto the sales floor and maintain merchandise and inventory in all areas of the department.
• Participate in inventory process, stockroom maintenance, organization, and housekeeping.
• Process damages, transfers, and return to vendor merchandise.
• Execute the Destroy in Field process and Recycling Collateral Program following store/local policies.
• Follow shortage programs and procedures as they pertain to the receiving function.
• Adhere to Asset Protection and inventory control and compliance procedures.
