About The Position

A Retail Coordinator bridges the gap between store operations, visual merchandising, and inventory management, ensuring a seamless, high-quality customer experience. They are responsible for executing, merchandising, maintaining inventory, coordinating, and managing daily tasks to drive sales. This role often includes training staff, maintaining, and, as a key contact point, for corporate communication.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of retail experience, often with supervisory or operational responsibility.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead a team and interact with customers.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and inventory reports to improve store performance.
  • Ability to stand, sit, use hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to squat, bend, twist, push/pull.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
  • Work in extreme environments outdoors throughout the year.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during events.

Responsibilities

  • Execute product merchandising, planograms, and signage standards.
  • Manage stock levels, including receiving, replenishing, and organizing the sales floor and backroom.
  • Accurately enter all POs
  • Facilitate marketing merchandise requests for experiential campaigns and giveaways
  • Monitor daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
  • Organize the flow of goods from trucks to the sales floor.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, handle inquiries, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise retail associates, providing coaching to improve performance.
  • Act as a liaison between store management and the corporate office.
  • Report on inventory, sales metrics (KPIs), and customer feedback.
