As a Fine Jewelry Sales Associate at Macy's, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service within the Fine Jewelry and Watch Complex. Your primary responsibility will be to create a welcoming and comfortable shopping experience for every customer. This involves not only meeting sales goals but also promoting loyalty and warranty programs, and building lasting relationships with customers through our clientele program. You will be expected to demonstrate superior product knowledge, assisting customers in selecting and purchasing items that align with their tastes, preferences, and budgets. In this position, you will engage with customers to understand their needs, offering personalized recommendations and suggesting complementary products to enhance their shopping experience. You will also support customers using devices to shop and compare, assist them in trying on various watch models, and ensure a comfortable fit by adjusting straps or bands. Continuous product knowledge training will be a part of your role, allowing you to stay informed about the latest offerings through technology and vendor partners. Additionally, you will utilize point of sale technology and applications to assist in selling and fulfilling customer orders, participate in sales-driving events, and perform all aspects of the fulfillment process, including picking, packing, labeling, and shipping. Maintaining proper processing, presentation, organization, storing, and replenishment of stock will also be part of your responsibilities, along with adhering to asset protection programs and procedures to ensure audit compliance.
