About The Position

The Coach plays a critical leadership role at Where Ya Bin, supporting the General Manager in daily store operations, team development, and execution of company standards. This is a hands-on, floor-focused leadership position responsible for driving performance, maintaining operational excellence, and delivering a positive customer and associate experience in a fast-paced retail environment. The Coach serves as a leader-on-duty, stepping in to oversee store operations, support associates, and ensure the store is fully prepared for weekly flips, high-volume traffic, and Friday openings.

Responsibilities

  • Be professional at all times.
  • Lead, coach, and support retail associates to ensure excellent customer service and operational execution.
  • Serve as Manager-on-Duty when scheduled, providing direction and resolving issues in real time.
  • Assist in onboarding, training, and performance coaching of team members.
  • Reinforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards consistently.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Support the Retail Manager in ensuring the store is fully set and ready for Friday openings.
  • Oversee daily sales floor execution, including stocking, bin organization, and cleanliness.
  • Assist with flipping bins, staging pallets, and preparing new inventory for the sales floor.
  • Conduct floor walks to identify merchandising, safety, or operational opportunities.
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed accurately.
