About The Position

Our location in Culver, Indiana is on the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee, Culver Academies encompasses 1,800 acres of green hills and woodlands, and a historic collegiate-like campus with beautiful Gothic buildings and architecture. The part-time Retail Clerk provides exceptional customer service both in person and on the telephone, promotes sales of Culver products, operates the Point of Sale system, labels merchandise, stocks shelves, and works to maintain a clean and orderly store for customers. This position will serve in all Campus Store locations, including but not limited to the Main Store, Museum Gift Shop, and Pop-up events.

Requirements

Applicants must possess a high school diploma/GED.
Prior experience in a retail environment is highly desired.
Must be neat, organized, and possess excellent communication, mathematical, and customer service skills.
Must acquire the skills needed to develop proficiency and accuracy in the store’s computer systems.
The successful candidate will desire to become a valuable team member, and be able to lift 50 pounds.
